I possess meditation experience for nearly 26 years. Further, I possess my seventh year after being a Nun. When I was a lay women, I conducted four meditation programs in every Poya day at four temples regularly in Moratuwa area, else to the capital city of Sri Lanka (Colombo). I am happily to inform you that I am able to give guidance on meditation to anybody at any time for needy personal. Today Sri Lankans are tempted for meditation. Even though the priest and Lay women find lots of places for meditation Nuns do not have necessary facilities in such places. With this experience I have a great experience I have great concern for the establishment of a meditation center for Nuns. Ms. Sunil Benet Athukorala (J.P) who has got an 18 Acers plot of land at Mahagama in the Kaluthara District, which he has got as a gift from his late father has donated this land for the aforesaid purpose. I designated this as “ DonSaimanAthukoralaCharitableTrust International Meditation Foundation” as a of remembrance of his late father.
This has already been registered at the relevant authorities, Ms.Athokorala (J.P) together with his colleagues have kindly concentered to assist me in this regard.
Even though this location is an excellent area for meditation which possesses pure assets hilly and valley assess which is also very attractive, ecofriendly andscenery. But villagers are of this area are very poor. Hence my self has to prepare almas too. Further my ambitious and aims get fruitful, I plan to get some more nuns for this hermitage with the assistance of some personals. I got a small hermitage built for my usage.
Since I follow the perching of Rev. AjansBrahmawanso, these with a view to give a chance to nuns. Who are speared through the world I could arrangeto attain this meditation classes and obtain the necessary guidance and instructions meditation from this priest.Please find below a diagram directly the proposed construction of 25 kuties, a meditation hall and an alms hall and a kitchen for this meditation center.
